When you are charged
When you check out, your payment method is
pre-authorized — it is not charged at that time.
A pre-authorization places a temporary hold to confirm your payment method;
it is not a completed charge.
You are only charged after a licensed provider reviews your intake
and issues a prescription. If the provider issues your prescription,
the pre-authorization is captured and becomes a charge. If the provider does
not issue a prescription, you are not charged.
If you do not qualify for a prescription
If a provider determines that a prescribed treatment is not appropriate for
you, you are not charged for medication. The
pre-authorization hold placed at checkout is
released and never captured — no charge is completed
— and you are notified of the provider’s decision. Depending on
your bank, a released authorization hold may take a few business days to
disappear from your account.
Prescription medications (after a prescription is issued)
Our medications are compounded specifically for you. For your safety and to
comply with pharmacy law,
prescription medications cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once
they have been dispensed or shipped.
This is true even if the medication is unopened.
Dispensed medications cannot be reused or resold
and must be disposed of properly.
Critical: You almost certainly
cannot accept returns of dispensed prescription medication.
Once a prescription drug leaves the pharmacy, federal and state pharmacy law
and patient-safety rules prohibit it from re-entering the supply chain —
it cannot be returned, reused, or resold.
Your refund policy has to separate
(a) fees/memberships, which can be refundable on your terms,
from (b) dispensed medication, which is non-returnable.
The draft below does that. Confirm the exact wording with counsel and your
pharmacy partner.
Consultation and membership fees
If you are charged for a consultation or membership and have not yet received
a provider evaluation, contact us at
[email protected]
within a few days for a full refund.
Once a licensed provider has reviewed your intake and rendered a clinical
decision, the consultation fee reflects services already delivered and is
generally non-refundable.
Medication
For your safety and as required by law,
prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded once shipped or
dispensed
— including unopened products.
This is a pharmacy and patient-safety requirement, not a company preference.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect shipments
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within
30 days at
[email protected].
We will work with our pharmacy partners to resolve it, which may or may not
include a replacement at no additional cost where appropriate.
Subscriptions and cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing/refill
date through your account or by contacting
[email protected].
Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund
medication already dispensed.
We will confirm each cancellation in writing.
